 Reunion Cruise



The Reunion Cruise is a 5 day cruise
beginning on
Monday, Oct 10th, 2011

     Our travel consultant is once again Al Magee Cruises of Houston.

     To make a booking, get additional cruise information or get answers to 
     any of your questions, call Al at 1-888-290-7245.
     When you call, reference the 2011 USS Grant reunion cruise.
     Al does accept payment with credit cards.
     Al will take your reservation and payment over the phone.

     The prices include Carnival "Fun Ship" Cruise, cabin, fine dining,
      spectacular stage shows, variety of activities, clubs & bars 
     (cost of drinks not included) and all port charges and government fees.

     Carnival Transfers to the airport at the end of the cruise can
     be arranged with Al Magee when you make your reservations.
     The cost is $35 per person for 65 and older and $45 per person
     for individuals under 65 years of age.

      Shipmates who are driving to the land based reunion and are 
      registered guests of Casa del Mar, may park their vehicle at 
      the hotel during the cruise.   If you are only going on the cruise,
      you will need to park near the Cruise Terminal.  Parking is about
      $10 per day at the terminal.

The TRIUMPH is more than twice the size of the
Jacksonville Reunion Cruise Ship.

Gross Tonnage:  101,509
Length:  893 feet.
Beam:  116 feet.
Cruising Speed:  21 knots.
Guest Capacity:  2758 (double occupancy).
Total Staff:  1,100 people.
Registry:  The Bahamas.

2011 USS U. S. GRANT REUNION CRUISE P.O.D.


Monday (10/10) Galveston, Texas

 

1200 (About)      Begin boarding. Lunch provided on board in the Wheelhouse.

1530 (About       Carnival’s mandatory lifeboat drill.

1600 (About)      Underway from Galveston for USS Grant Reunion Cruise.

1800 (About)      USS Grant cruise activities and location will be announced 
         
                     at the first dinner. The wine at dinner is the compliments

                          of our cruise coordinator, Al Magee.

 

Tuesday (10/11) (At Sea)


0700-0830         
“Coffee and Sea Stories” in Wheelhouse (aft stbd side)

                           for the early-risers. 

1000-1100          “Grant Games” on deck with prizes to the winners.

                           Drawings for additional prizes.

1700-1800          “Grant Meet-and-Greet Happy Hour” compliments of the   
                           USS Grant Alumni Association. Drawings for prizes.

1930 (About)       USS Grant group photos (after dinner).


Wednesday (10/12) Progresso, Mexico
     Enjoy your visit!

Thursday (10/13) Cozumel, Mexico         Enjoy your visit!


Friday 10/14) At Sea
